Women To Receive Diwali Bonus Under Ladki Bahin Yojana – Check Eligibility And Conditions

Various women empowerment schemes are being run by both the Central and state governments, and one such initiative is the Ladki Behen Yojana in Maharashtra. Recently, an important announcement was made regarding this scheme ahead of Diwali. The Maharashtra government has declared that eligible women will receive a Diwali Bonus 2024 under the Ladki Behen Yojana. According to an official notification, the fourth and fifth installments of ₹3,000 will be transferred to the bank accounts of eligible women as part of this Diwali bonus.

Under this scheme, women in Maharashtra who qualify are provided Rs 1,500 every month. Similarly, Madhya Pradesh runs a similar program called the Ladli Bahina Yojana, where women are given Rs 1,200 per month. This initiative aims to provide financial support and promote the empowerment of women across the state.

Diwali Bonus: How Many Women Will Benefit?

The Diwali bonus announcement comes as a festive gift to the beneficiaries of the Ladki Behen Yojana in Maharashtra. The state government, under Chief Minister Eknath Shinde , has decided to release the October and November installments together as a part of this festive bonus. As a result, women will receive Rs 3,000 in their bank accounts before Diwali.
