Yuva Shakti Bharosa Card: How To Apply? Check Eligibility

The government is expected to introduce unemployment ‘ Yuva Shakti Bharosa Card ’ for young people who are currently without jobs. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to unemployed youth in West Bengal under the BJP’s proposed plan.

The government will soon fulfill their promise that they had made during the Assembly election 2026. The previous TMC party in West Bengal had provided Rupees 1500 per month to unemployed youth under the ” Banglar Yuba Sathi scheme. The youth can use this money for their further education, skill development, and to cover other expenses.

The government’s only motive is to help the youth manage their monthly expenses and not be dependent on the family. All the job seekers in West Bengal State can avail the benefit of the scheme till they get a job. This is the unemployment financial aid or grant that will soon be provided by the Bharatiya Janata Party in West Bengal.

After the change in the state, the new Chief Minister Subhendu Adhikari has said that no ongoing social project will be closed. But those who received the money from Yuvasathi in the first phase may not get it anymore. Because, the information of each applicant will be verified again. Then the unemployment allowance money will be available. The government feels that the information needs to be re-verified. It will also be investigated whether there is a case of money being credited to the account of the same person twice.

Who will get the money?

According to the guidelines given by the state government, to get the money from the Yuva Shakti scheme, you have to fulfill some qualifications. They are -

• The youth concerned must be permanent residents of West Bengal.
  
• Must have passed at least the secondary school examination.
  
• Must be between 21 and 40 years of age.
  
• You must be currently unemployed. That is, you cannot be involved in any employment.
  
• The applicant must have a DBT link with their bank account.

Required Documents

It is mandatory to carry the following valid documents at the time of application:

• Voter ID card
  
• Aadhaar Card
  
• Proof of age (birth certificate or secondary school admit card)
  
• Educational qualification certificate and marksheet
  
• Recent passport size photo
  
• Active mobile number
  

The state cabinet has already approved the launch of a specific online portal for this scheme. New applicants can register their names by visiting this portal. Besides, those who were already getting the benefit of such unemployment allowance will also be automatically included in this new list. The government has clarified that the increased Rs 3,000 will start flowing into the account from June 1.

The application process is completely online

The application process is completely online. You have to go to the portal and provide accurate information including personal information, educational qualifications and bank IFSC code. While applying, you have to scan and upload the photo of the first page of the voter ID card, Aadhaar card, Madhyamik admit card (for age proof), marksheet of all exams and bank passbook.
