8th Pay Commission: The Central Government has announced the 8th Pay Commission, and the commission has already been constituted with Justice Ranjana Desai as its chairperson. The recommendations of the 8th Pay Commission will impact approximately 50 lakh central government employees and 69 lakh pensioners.
