The Importance of Work According to Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar asserts that individuals should only consider retirement moments before their passing, emphasizing the significance of continuous work for a prolonged life.

During the trailer launch of 'Welcome To Jungle' in Mumbai on Thursday, Kumar elaborated on how his dedication to his profession often overshadows any thoughts of stepping back from the industry.

When questioned about the prospect of retiring after more than thirty years in cinema, he humorously remarked, "Yes, I think about it, but just five seconds later, I remember I have a shoot to attend. This fleeting thought of retirement lasts only a moment before I resolve to continue working. I wake up at 4 AM, and the cycle continues. It's been 36 years of this routine."

He humorously listed potential activities he might engage in if he were to retire, saying, "What would I do if I stopped acting? I’d probably take up jobs like being an electrician or a dog walker, or even gardening. I believe it’s better to keep working rather than retire."

Kumar encouraged his fans to maintain their work ethic for a longer life, suggesting that retirement should only be contemplated when one is on their deathbed.

He stated, "Honestly, I believe the concept of retirement is misguided. A person should only retire when they have mere seconds left to live. At that moment, they might say, 'I’m retiring.' Until then, keep working if you desire longevity."

After months of teasing fans with glimpses of its star-studded cast, the creators of 'Welcome To The Jungle' have finally released the film's trailer, showcasing what promises to be a comedic adventure filled with action and vibrant characters.

The trailer, which runs over four minutes, features Akshay Kumar at the heart of the chaos. The storyline revolves around a group tasked with locating a once-celebrated actor, portrayed by Kumar, whose career has faltered due to a series of unsuccessful films.

In addition to Akshay and Suniel Shetty, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Daler Mehndi, and Aftab Shivdasani, among others. Ahmed Khan directs the film.

Set to release in theaters on June 26, this film is highly anticipated.
