Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan Opens to the Public for 2026 Season: Dates, Timings & Ticket Details

Amrit Udyan, the famed gardens within the Rashtrapati Bhavan estate in New Delhi, has reopened for public viewing for its 2026 Winter Annuals Edition . From 3 February to 31 March 2026, visitors from across India and beyond can admire the season’s vibrant blooms, iconic landscaped layouts, and unique garden experiences, all free of cost with online booking.

About Amrit Udyan

Previously known as the Mughal Gardens, Amrit Udyan was renamed to reflect India’s heritage and vision of growth. Spanning a sprawling area on the Rashtrapati Bhavan grounds, the gardens are a blend of formal Mughal-inspired design and indigenous horticultural features. Each year, the seasonal opening invites the public to explore the beauty of carefully curated flora timed with peak blooms.

  • Opening Period: 3 February – 31 March 2026
  • Visiting Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last entry typically around 5:00 PM)
  • Closed: Mondays (maintenance) and 4 March for Holi celebrations
