Anu Aggarwal shares thoughts on healing

Taking to Instagram, Anu uploaded a candid selfie and paired it with a message about self-discovery. She explained how caring for others begins with caring for oneself. She wrote, "I have learned that truly looking after others begins with looking after yourself. Self-awareness begins the moment we start noticing where we are betraying our own truth. The more honestly we see ourselves, the more deeply we return to ourselves. And that return is healing."

She also added hashtags including "#SelfAwareness #Healing #Mindfulness #ConsciousLiving #AnuFunYoga." This is not the first time Anu has spoken about awareness and emotional well-being. Earlier too, she had shared a video carrying a message centered around mindful living and consciousness. The video was titled, "I Am Loving Awareness. It feels amazing! I found this-until the time you are aware, you are not really living. Being mindful is pleasurable." Her recent posts suggest that mindfulness and self-reflection continue to remain important subjects in her life.

Aashiqui changed her career journey

On the work front, Anu became a familiar face after starring in the romantic drama 'Aashiqui' in 1990. The film emerged as a major success and brought her widespread recognition. However, the actress had earlier revealed that entering films was never part of her original plan. According to Anu, acting arrived unexpectedly and completely changed the direction of her life. In one of her previous social media posts, she reflected on that period while sharing memories connected to her journey. Sharing a collage featuring herself and Rahul Roy , Anu had earlier opened up about how cinema entered her life unexpectedly. She wrote, "I didn't enter films the way it may seem. In retrospect, films were never the plan. I was on my way back to Paris- wrapping up work in India before returning to modeling. That's when Aashiqui came to me. Three months- and I would be back. But one film changed everything overnight. The media called me a 'reluctant actor'. They came to me."

Apart from 'Aashiqui,' Anu later appeared in several projects including 'Ghazab Tamasha', 'King Uncle', 'Khal-Naaikaa' and 'The Cloud Door'.
