Ariana Grande has announced that 3 concerts on her sold out Eternal Sunshine Tour have been rescheduled because of production related challenges. The Grammy winning singer shared the update with fans and apologised for the changes, explaining that the decision was made to make sure the shows can be presented safely and as originally planned. The announcement came after performances in Oakland, Los Angeles and Austin, where the team reportedly realised that more time was needed to move and rebuild the large stage setup between cities.

One of the affected concerts is the New York City show at Barclays Center, which was originally scheduled for Sunday, July 12. It has now been moved to Tuesday, July 14. The venue said the change was made to “ensure the full production can be delivered safely and as intended. The remaining Brooklyn shows will take place as originally scheduled.”

In Boston, TD Garden also announced changes to 2 concert dates. The show that was planned for Wednesday, July 22 has been moved to Thursday, July 23. Another concert that was originally set for Friday, July 24 will now take place on Sunday, July 26. Fans who already purchased tickets do not need to buy new ones, as all existing tickets will be accepted for the revised dates.

Addressing fans directly, Ariana shared a message expressing her regret over the changes. She wrote, “We are so sorry for these unfortunate scheduling changes. This was our best and safest option as these challenges with production have come to our attention. The utmost important thing to us all is safety, first and foremost, and also making sure you all see the show how it is intended to run. Thank you so much for your understanding and I cannot wait to see you.”

The Eternal Sunshine Tour has received a positive response from audiences and all shows have been sold out. While the schedule changes may affect some fans’ travel plans, the updated dates are intended to allow the production team enough time to prepare each concert safely. Apart from the tour, Ariana Grande recently revealed the full track list for her upcoming album Petal, which is expected to be her next major music release.
