The upcoming episode of Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar, hosted by Rajeev Khandelwal , bring forward an emotional and inspiring conversation with actress Hema Sharma as she opens up about the hardships, heartbreaks, and struggles that shaped her life.
Speaking about the many challenges she has faced to reach the point of success, Hema with a gentle smile said, "Main khush hoon. Itni difficult life jee hai. Haan, insaan hoon, takleef hoti hai. Everyday struggle hota hai. Kisike paas paise ki dikkat hoti hai, kisike paas apnon ki dikkat hoti hai, par zindagi mein jitne tareeke ke struggles hote hain, sharirik taur ke, mansik taur ke, financial, woh sab main jhel rahi hoon. Main zinda hoon, main mari nahi hoon, na main marungi. Aap mujhe besharam kehna chahte hain toh besharam kahiye, bahadur kehna chahte hain woh aapka nazariya hai."

(I am happy. I've lived a very difficult life. Yes, I'm human, so I do feel pain. Every day is a struggle. Some people struggle with money, others struggle because of their loved ones. But every kind of hardship life can bring—physical, emotional, mental, or financial—I have endured it all. I am alive. I am not dead, and I am not going to die. If you want to call me shameless, then call me shameless. If you choose to call me brave, that's your perspective. )
Admiring her strength, Rajeev said, "Do you know what your greatest strength is? We just witnessed it. The people who can pat themselves on the back... they're the ones who truly possess strength.
To which Hema confidently replies, "I motivate myself."
Later Hema mentioned that nearly fifteen years of her life were ruined, Rajeev then hesitantly asked, "If you'll allow me, may I ask you about it? About your marriage—why it happened the way it did, and how it came about? Was it a love marriage?
Hema recalls her troubled married lifeRecalling those chapters of her life, Hema shares, "Ji, jaise pasand kar lete hain ke ladka accha hai. Kabhi main itni famous nahi hona chahti thi. Kabhi kabhi destiny decide kar leti hai. Toh mujhe laga hum kya hi kar lenge, chhote kasbe se aaye hain Muradnagar se, do chaar kaam kar liye the. Tab laga theek hai, America se insaan mile hain, paisa hai, sab kuch hai, sukoon bhari zindagi soche milegi. Lekin kyunki shayad naseeb mein nahi tha, saade gyarah saal woh shaadi toot gayi. Chaar saal ka baccha tha mera, usko leke main alag rehne lagi. Divorce bhi nahi hua tha phir doosre hero ki entry ho gayi. Unhone bola main accha insaan hoon. Insaan jo hota hai humesha positive hi sochta hai. Toh maine socha acche insaan hain aur shayad mahila hone ke naate maine doubt kiya ki main apne bete ko nahi padha paungi. Mujhe aisa insaan chahiye jo mere bete ko padha likha sake. Woh meri life ki bohot badi galti thi."
("Yes, you know how it is—you meet someone and feel he's a good person. I never wanted to become this famous. Sometimes, destiny makes the decisions for you. I thought, 'What more could we possibly do?' We had come from a small town, Muradnagar, and had done a few small jobs. Then I met someone from America. He had money, he had everything, and I believed I would have a peaceful life. But perhaps it just wasn't written in my destiny. After eleven and a half years, that marriage fell apart. My son was only four years old, and I started living separately with him. I wasn't even divorced yet when another man entered my life. He told me he was a good person. Human beings naturally want to believe the best in others, so I believed him. As a woman, I doubted whether I would be able to educate and raise my son on my own. I felt I needed someone who could help give my son a good education and a secure future. That turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life." )
Hema further shares that during that period she slipped into depression, but as she gradually found recognition and success, she found herself again.
Hema opens up why she chose to walk away from her marriageSpeaking about her second marriage and the difficult decision to walk away, Hema reveals, "Aise bolte hain, divorce de dunga ye nahi kiya toh. Maine decide kiya 2024 April mein, tum toh bolte ho main toh dungi. Aur woh maine decision liya 18th April ko. Do bachcho ke saath, chote se ghar mein rehti thi, chaar kapde pehenti thi, jaise taise do bachchon ko sambhalti thi. Phir uparwale ne dhamaka kiya. 2024 mein mujhe one of the biggest reality show mila jiska naam hai Bigg Boss."
("He would say things like, 'I'll divorce you if you don't do this.' Then, in April 2024, I made up my mind. I thought, 'You keep threatening me with divorce? Fine, I'll be the one to give it.' I made that decision on the 18th of April. At the time, I was living in a small house with my two children. I had only a few clothes to wear and was somehow managing to take care of both of them. Then, God changed everything in the most unexpected way. In 2024, I got the opportunity to be part of one of the biggest reality shows—Bigg Boss.” )
She also shared the emotional and financial suffering of her second marriage, Hema says, "Mera gold bhi sab le liya tha. Mere paas kuch nahi hai. Itne bade manch pe main yeh bolna chahti hoon, kisi aurat ki shaadi toot-ti hai toh uske paas bohot property hogi, bohot bank balance hoga, nahi. Uske paas ek samaj reh jaata hai jisko jagah jagah jaake jawaab dena padta hai. Zindagi reh jaati hai khaali jisse usko joojhna padta hai. Do shaadi mein mujhe kya mila, Ek rupaya bhi nahi."
