Sharing the viral photo on its social media handle (X), the PIB (Press Information Bureau) has clarified that the image is completely fake. The PIB stated that the "Dak Seva Gift" offer has absolutely no connection to the Indian Post Office—neither as a scheme, a promotional offer, nor a lucky draw. Furthermore, issuing a warning to the public, the PIB advised against clicking on any such links and urged people never to share their personal information—such as bank details, OTPs, or Aadhaar numbers—via such links.
