Karen Derrico is accused of threatening her ex-partner and their childrenEntertainment Weekly reported that the TV star has been accused of threatening to kill and hurt her children, as well as her ex, Deon Derrico . The criminal complaint against the TV personality was filed with the authorities in Nevada earlier this week on Tuesday. As per the report, she had also been arrested and taken into custody on June 17 as well.
PEOPLE reported about the official statement that the woman’s legal counsel had issued, which read, “The charges are total nonsense and fabricated by Mr. Derrico - the supposed 'victim’. This has everything to do with him being spiteful and malicious and nothing to do with him being frightened or harassed.” As per the reports, Derrico threatened her ex-husband, Deon, and tried to dissuade him from appearing in court for the case that he had filed against her. A statement further shared that she allegedly was "telling him to watch out, that she is getting a gun and/or will have someone kill him before he can go to court"
Another part of the report added that she directly targeted Deon and their children in some of her comments, one of which included: “I want you dead. I could kill you, and it won't even bother me to go to jail, and I'll kill any of my kids if they take your side.” These incidents took place around May 2 and June 17.
Derrico’s threats have made Deon feel “terrorized, frightened, intimidated, harassed, or fearful” for his family's well-being. A court order had previously been issued to Karen, citing that she should not contact Deon for anything not related to parenting or concerning their children; however, she allegedly sent him an email on June 17, which was stated to be not related to parental matters.
