Earth takes centrestage at this cultural fest

This weekend, Bengaluru's green calendar gets a vibrant addition with the 18th edition of Bhoomi Habba at Visthar Campus . The festival brings together art, food, storytelling, music and sustainability under the theme Restore, Reclaim – Community Paths to Climate Action .

For nearly two decades, the fest has been a significant event in Bengaluru, coinciding with World Environment Day . It turns the Visthar campus into a place where people can connect with nature, explore eco-friendly practices , and feel a shared responsibility for a sustainable future. “The festival uses the power of theatre, poetry, storytelling, games and movement to transform personal stories into collective calls for climate action ,” says Mercy Kappen, co-founder and strategic advisor, at Visthar.
