EPFO Inoperative PF Account Recovery: There is welcome news for the crores of Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) subscribers whose funds are stuck in old or dormant PF accounts. The EPFO ​​is set to launch a new digital portal named 'E-PRAAPTI' soon.

Through this portal, you will be able to easily locate your decades-old, non-UAN, or inoperative PF accounts, link them to your current Universal Account Number (UAN), and withdraw the stuck funds. Reports indicate that the EPFO ​​is working on back-end software upgrades to enhance the system's security, with a nationwide launch expected by the end of August 2026.
