As part of a scheduled technology upgrade, several online services have been temporarily suspended on both the EPFO portal
The maintenance activity is expected to affect millions of EPF members across the country, preventing them from filing new claims, tracking existing applications, or accessing several other digital services until the upgrade is completed.

EPFO Online Claim Services Suspended for Three DaysAccording to an official notice issued by the EPFO, the organization is carrying out a planned migration and database enhancement exercise to strengthen its software infrastructure and improve the overall performance of its digital services.
As part of this maintenance activity, online claim submission and claim processing services will remain unavailable from 12:00 a.m. on June 26 until 11:59 p.m. on June 28, 2026
.The EPFO has confirmed that its online services are scheduled to resume normal operations from 12:00 a.m. on June 29, 2026.
During this period, members will not be able to submit fresh online claims or have previously submitted claims processed.
Existing Claims Will Also Be DelayedThe temporary suspension does not affect only new applications.
The EPFO has clarified that claims submitted before the maintenance window will also remain pending during the shutdown period. Processing of these applications will restart only after digital services become operational again.
Subscribers expecting claim settlements during these dates may therefore experience a short delay.
UMANG App Services to Remain Unavailable Until July 2Apart from the EPFO portal, the organization has also announced a longer maintenance schedule for EPF-related services available through the UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance)
According to the notification, PF services on the UMANG platform will remain unavailable until July 2, 2026, due to scheduled system maintenance.
As a result, users will temporarily lose access to several important services available through the application.
Services Affected on the UMANG AppDuring the maintenance period, EPF subscribers using the UMANG app will not be able to access the following services:

Filing new online PF claims.

Tracking the status of submitted claims.

UAN-related services.

Registering grievances and complaints.

Applying for Scheme Certificates.
