Ingredients

  • 1½ cups refined flour (maida)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • 6 tbsp ghee
  • 4 tbsp yogurt
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • A large pinch of saffron
  • Slivered pistachios (for garnish)
  • Dried rose petals (for garnish)

Preparation Method

Start by mixing the dry ingredients, flour, baking soda, and salt, in a bowl. Add ghee and blend until the mixture becomes crumbly. Stir in yogurt and gradually add milk to form a soft dough. Cover it with a damp cloth and let it rest for around 40-45 minutes.
