  • Processed cheese (grated) - 1 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese (grated) - 1 cup
  • Jalapenos (finely chopped) - 2-3 tbsp (adjust spice level)
  • Boiled potatoes - 2 medium (mashed)
  • Cornflour - 3 tbsp
  • All-purpose flour (maida) - 2 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs - 1 cup (for coating)
  • Black pepper - ½ tsp
  • Salt - as needed
  • Red chilli flakes - ½ tsp (optional)
  • Oil - for deep frying

How to Make Jalapeno Cheese Balls

1. Prepare the mixture

In a large bowl, mix mashed potatoes, grated cheeses, chopped jalapenos, salt, pepper, and chilli flakes. Add cornflour and maida to bind everything into a soft dough-like mixture.

2. Shape the balls

Take small portions and roll them into smooth, bite-sized balls. Keep them uniform for even frying.


3. Coat well

Roll each ball in bread crumbs. For extra crunch, you can dip them in a cornflour slurry and coat again with breadcrumbs.

4. Chill

Refrigerate the balls for 20–30 minutes. This helps them hold shape while frying.


5. Fry to perfection

Heat oil on medium flame and deep fry the balls until golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
