1 cup water
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
A few saffron strands (optional)
1/2 tsp rose water
Instructions:
Prepare the Sugar Syrup: In a pan, combine sugar and water. Heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Add cardamom powder, saffron strands, and rose water. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly sticky. Keep warm.
Make the Dough: In a mixing bowl, crumble the khoya, add maida, baking soda, and cardamom powder. Mix well. Gradually add milk to form a soft, smooth dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
