Newspoint
To mark the International Day of Yoga , Isha Foundation is conducting nearly 1,000 yoga and meditation sessions across the country, with an estimated 50,000 participants from corporate, education, medical, government, and defence institutions, as well as community spaces.

Speaking about the deeper significance of yoga, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has said, "Yoga is not just an exercise. It is a process and system through which human beings can find their highest possible potential."

Reflecting this understanding, the sessions are designed to offer participants an experiential introduction to yoga as a holistic science for well-being and inner transformation. The sessions are being facilitated by trained volunteers and teachers from Isha Foundation. As part of the initiative, participants are being guided to simple yet powerful yogic practices that can be easily incorporated into daily life to enhance physical health, mental well-being, and quality of life.

Alongside these sessions, participants are also being introduced to Miracle of Mind, Sadhguru's free seven-minute guided meditation that enables anyone to effortlessly make meditation a part of their daily routine. Offered through the Miracle of Mind app, the meditation has reached over 3.5 million active users globally and is currently available in six languages — English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Spanish and Russian. On the occasion of International Day of Yoga, six additional languages — Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Bangla, Italian and Nepali — will be added to the app, making the meditation accessible to an even wider audience in their native languages. Requiring no prior knowledge or experience of yoga, meditation is accessible to people from all walks of life.
