Is Back Pain After C-Section Permanent?
Back pain after a C-section is not permanent for most women, even though it is twice as common after a caesarean as after a vaginal delivery. It often subsides within a few weeks to months as the body heals. A small number of women develop pain that persists beyond three months, and that warrants medical evaluation. For the majority, this is a temporary part of postpartum recovery, not a lifelong condition.
