This year, Kharmas started on March 15 and will continue for about a month, concluding on April 14, when the Sun moves into Aries. After this date, all ceremonial activities can resume.
As per the *Panchang* (Hindu calendar), Kharmas will end on April 14, 2026, at 9:38 AM, when the Sun enters Aries.
Why Avoid Auspicious Activities During Kharmas?

In May, the auspicious dates for weddings are the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. For June, the favorable dates include the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 23rd, 24th, and 30th. In July, auspicious dates for marriage are the 1st, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 15th.
For *Griha Pravesh* in April, the 20th is considered auspicious. In May, the 4th, 8th, and 13th are suitable dates. In June, the 24th, 26th, and 27th are favorable, while in July, *Griha Pravesh* can be conducted on the 1st, 2nd, and 6th.
