Kusha Kapila clarifies she has not reconciled with Samay RainaAmid the ongoing reconciliation rumours about Samay Raina and Kusha Kapila, the latter quickly addressed the situation and offered clarifications. Taking to her Instagram stories, Kapila revealed that all the photos of the two being extensively shared online are fake and generated through AI.

She further shared that she has no ties with Samay Raina and that the jokes shared in the past genuinely hurt her. She shared posts on her account claiming that “Women can change in a second for money and fame." However, the ‘Thank You For Coming’ star called the posts and photos “fake and seeded.” She added, “My face is AI-altered; why would anyone spend any money doing this is beyond me. She also reshared a screenshot of a post from Nikhil Taneja, a famous YouTuber, who had posted in her support. She tagged him and wrote, “Thank you @tanejamainhoon for always coming through against this hot pile of bakwas garbage that god knows who is funding. It's laughable.”

Kusha Kapila explained what happened with Samay Raina that led to their falloutKapila also shared a long post with pointers explaining what happened in 2024 in great detail, and why she and Raina are not connected in any way. She wrote, “Yes, we were friends. Samay was a panellist on a roast show hosted by Ashish Solanki. There was no script shared, no contract signed, and no jokes shared beforehand. Everything was done in good faith. I had no idea what was coming my way. The jokes made at my expense were horrible, and I stand by my stance that they should have been censored.”

“I blocked both Samay and Ashish. It has taken me a lot of time and therapy to undo the shame and ridicule I felt that day. I genuinely wish that roast had never happened to me. There is no record of me celebrating his downfall because I never did. Multiple publications reached out to me, asking me to speak against him, and I chose not to. I am not friends with Samay. I will never be on Latent”, she added.

Concluding the post, she clarified criticism she received for attending Jasleen Royal’s recent party. While both Kapila and Raina were present at the event, she clarified that this did not mean that they had reconciled in any way. She added, “Stop it with your ridiculous seeding. Stop minimising women. Let's all move the f*** on.”

She also shared posts and similar clarifications that she had shared on her social media accounts around a year ago, explaining what happened and why she opted to go to ‘Pretty Good Roast Show’ in the first place. She posted another story on her social media account and added, “I don’t need anyone to take a stand for me nor will I run a PR campaign nor will I do any seeding because there is a very real life waiting to be lived. You can’t put a timeline to how long will I take to be okay with this…. Allow me to take this hurt to my grave, please.”
