National Wildlife Day 2026: 7 National Parks In India Famous For Wildlife

National Wildlife Day is observed every year on September 4, and in 2026 it falls on Friday. The observance focuses on creating greater awareness about wildlife, endangered species and the need for conservation and preservation of natural habitats. It was founded by Colleen Paige in 2005 and was created to honour wildlife conservationist Steve Irwin.
