The 27-year-old star made history with Sam Fender , as their song ‘ Rein Me In ’ became the longest-running number one single of all time by a British act.

Sam Fender, who originally released the song for his third album, surpassed the 1994 hit ‘Love is All Around’ by Wet Wet Wet, as well as ‘(Everything I Do) I Do It For You’ by Canadian singer Bryan Adams. Collaborating with the phenomenal singer Olivia Dean, the song has topped the UK chart for 16 weeks, per the BBC.
The duet was released in June as a remix of his original song, marking Dean’s input. Claiming that this marks an excuse to party, the 32-year-old said, “Olivia putting the alternative narrative on it made the song really universal – that opened the floodgates. There are two sides to the story. And it's a toe tapper! It's officially a banger!”
