Addressing the audience, he said, "I am 46 years old, and if you divide that by two, half my life has been spent in cinema. One small mistake of mine has hurt so many people, and I truly regret that. My personal life and professional life have always been equally important, but my emotions took over." He also apologised to the film fraternity, adding, "Everyone in the industry told me, 'You can say anything, but never say you are leaving cinema.' I sincerely apologise to them, and I promise I will never let my fans down again. I will definitely come back stronger."
