If your rose plant looks dry, weak, or has stopped flowering after the harsh summer, don't give up on it just yet. The weeks before the monsoon are the best time to help it recover. Why Pre-Monsoon Care Is Important

Summer heat often leaves rose plants stressed. Leaves turn yellow, growth slows down, and flower production drops. Before the rains begin, preparing the soil and feeding the plant allows nutrients to reach the roots more effectively once the rainwater starts soaking into the soil. This helps the plant bounce back with fresh growth.

Start by Loosening the Soil

Before adding any fertilizer, gently loosen the top layer of soil around the plant. Dig about 2 to 3 inches away from the main stem to avoid damaging the roots. This improves air circulation in the soil and helps nutrients and water reach the root system more easily.
