Sunil Pal reacts to Pranit More's 'Rs 370 biryani' remark: says 'That's why I call such people the terrorists of society, we need strict laws'
Bigg Boss 19 fame Pranit More is receiving massive backlash for supporting a misogynistic joke made by an audience member at his recent show. During his show, an audience member Himanshu Jangra from Gurugram, sparked controversy after claiming that spending Rs370 on a woman's meal meant he deserved physical intimacy in return. Several celebrities took to social media to condemn Pranit and Himanshi. Comedian and actor Sunil Pal has now shared his opinion on the insensitive 'Rs370 biryani' remark made on Pranit's recent show.

In an interview with IANS, Sunil Pal stated that comedians running their homes by sharing such obscene content are the "terrorists of society".
The comedian shared, "The obscenity these boys and girls try to do in the name of comedy ends up running their homes, but it is ruining the youth of the country. That’s why I always call such people the terrorists of society, because I believe what is not understood does not belong to society."
That's not all, Sunil asked the venues hosting comedy shows to follow strict guidelines and ensure that only clean content is delivered during the show.
Sunil Pal added, "Those venues hosting such shows also need to come up with strict laws and rules that no such program will happen here, no abuses will be given, no obscene content will be used and only then I feel that a little bit of control can be achieved on this because today society, and comedians like us and the people who watch our content, are scared, and in a panick."
Hinting at Pranit More's time in the Bigg Boss 19 house, he shared, "The media is panicked, wondering why such people get so much attention, why they are invited to shows like 'Big Boss'? Where are the comedians who do clean comedy? Unless we promote such comedians, people like these will continue to find a market."
"My appeal to the viewers, the media, and the venues that host their shows is to make strict laws", he concluded.
For those unaware, a video from Pranit More's recent stand-up show went viral and sparked widespread criticism online. In the clip, 23-year-old Himanshu Jangra said that he had spent Rs 370 on a plate of chicken biryani during a date and therefore expected a “return” on that expense. His remark drew strong reactions on social media and netizens called out both Pranit and Himanshu.
