Swetaa Varma has broken her silence on the sudden and tragic death of her ' Mugguru Monagallu ' co-star Twisha Sharma , saying she is still struggling to process the news. Twisha, 33, was found dead on May 12 at her husband's home in the Katara Hills area of Bhopal, just six months after her marriage to lawyer Samarth Singh in December 2025.

I had the opportunity to work with her in the movie 'Mugguru Monagallu'. Though our interaction was brief, we shared some fun conversations and a lot of laughter. She carried such positive energy and never seemed like someone who would take such a step."
Beyond paying tribute, Swetaa also made a pointed appeal for a thorough investigation into the circumstances of Twisha's death, echoing the sentiment of many in the industry and the public who have raised questions about the case.
"I truly hope the investigation is conducted properly, the truth comes out, and justice is served."
