Since Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 22nd installment of the scheme from Guwahati, Assam, on March 13, 2026, and based on past trends and regulations, it is anticipated that the upcoming 23rd installment could be released sometime between June and July 2026. However, the government has not yet made an official announcement regarding a specific date for this release.
How is the money deposited into farmers' accounts?
Under the PM Kisan scheme, eligible farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually. This total amount is distributed in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each throughout the year. The funds are transferred directly into the farmers' bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to assist them with farming activities and other essential expenses.
