In a city known for embracing diversity, Sunday showcased Bengaluru at its most colourful bringing together a single day of celebration. Bengaluru witnessed a rare convergence of celebrations, as the city marked International Yoga Day , World Music Day , World Motorcycle Day and Pride Month—each drawing thousands of participants across different corners of the city. From mass yoga sessions and musical performances to roaring bike engines and rainbow flags, the day reflected the many communities that make Bengaluru what it is.

Stretching into Yoga Day
The day began on a serene note with large-scale International Yoga Day celebrations at Vidhana Soudha, where yoga enthusiasts gathered for guided sessions promoting health and mindfulness. Actor Sanjjanaa Ggalrani on the other hand participated in a celebration with a private school.
Music took centre stage
Music lovers marked World Music Day with performances across the city. At the Sri M Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology hosted a unique musical feat. A world record was attempted with 100 flutes, 50 sitars and one voice, led by singer Ramya Vasishta, flautist HS Venugopal, Hindustani vocalist Iman Das and sitar player Dr Jayant Kumar Das.
