Vijay's 'Jana Nayagan' faces legal challenge: Madras High Court seeks response over plea against controversial scenes

Even as ' Jana Nayagan ' continues its successful run in theatres, the film has now landed in legal trouble. A petition seeking an interim stay on the screening of Vijay 's much-talked-about film came up for hearing before the Madras High Court . While the petitioner requested an immediate halt to the film's exhibition and a review of its censor certificate, the court did not pass any stay order. Instead, it directed the concerned parties to file their responses before the next hearing.
