WFH Survey: Before the COVID pandemic hit in 2019, the concept of working from home was largely unknown, especially in India. After the pandemic began, people started working from home and found they liked it quite a bit. However, after two or three consecutive years of working remotely, the routine began to feel somewhat exhausting. Yet, now that 'work from office' has resumed, people are missing the WFH arrangement. Amidst this, a new survey has brought fresh insights to light.

A recent survey titled 'Great Place to Work India: Voice of India 2025' has been released. It indicates that if given a choice, 39% of employees prefer the hybrid work model. The survey highlights that employees in the professional services and technology sectors are particularly fond of the hybrid model. Companies are now focusing more on the quality of work being produced rather than the physical location from which the employee is working.

The hybrid work model is a blend of 'work from home' and 'work from office.' Under this arrangement, employees go to the office for two or three days a week and work from home on the remaining days. This combination is known as the hybrid work model. It allows for comfortable work from home while keeping the mind fresh through occasional office attendance, which is why it is highly popular among people.
