This year, Dhanteras will be observed on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. The Trayodashi Tithi begins at 10:31 AM on October 29 and ends at 1:15 PM on October 30. The most auspicious time for performing Dhanteras Puja will be between 6:30 PM and 8:12 PM.

Significance of Dhanteras
Dhanteras is seen as a day to invite prosperity, wealth, and good health into homes. It is believed that worshipping Goddess Lakshmi , the goddess of wealth, along with Lord Kubera (the god of riches) and Lord Dhanvantari (the god of health), brings fortune and well-being to households. On this day, homes are cleaned and illuminated with lamps (diyas) to dispel negative energy and welcome positive vibes.
