Abhishek shattered Kohli’s previous record with a towering six off Rishi Dhawan in the sixth over of the second innings, clearing long-on with an 82-meter hit. This massive strike marked Abhishek's 39th six of the season, eclipsing Kohli's 2016 record of 38 sixes.

The young left-hander stepped up after the early dismissal of his opening partner, Travis Head, on the first ball of the innings. Abhishek took charge, propelling his team to a rapid start and reaching a half-century in just 21 balls. He eventually fell for a spectacular 66 off 28 balls, including five fours and six sixes, leaving SRH at 129/3 after 10.1 overs in their chase of a daunting 215-run target.
