BFI withdraws Special AGM notice after court hearing
New Delhi: The Boxing Federation of India ( BFI ) has withdrawn the notice for its proposed Special Annual General Meeting (SAGM) during proceedings before the Delhi High Court , where the meeting had been challenged by affiliated members through the Delhi Boxing Association .
The petition contended that the SAGM, scheduled to be held virtually on July 28, was convened without circulating the draft constitutional amendments and related documents to affiliated members in advance.
