CWG 2026: Sports Min Dr Mandaviya hails lifter Bindyarani Devi's gritty show in bronze medal win

Glasgow, July 27 (IANS) Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, praised weightlifter Bindyarani Devi Sorokhaibam for her gritty show as she won a bronze medal in the women's 58kg weightlifting competition in the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on Monday.

Bindyarani secured the bronze medal in the women’s 58kg weightlifting competition, adding another medal to the country’s growing tally.
