Indian boxer Jadumani Singh Mandengbam moved into the men's 55kg quarterfinals at the Commonwealth Games 2026 after defeating Pakistan's Sumama Rehman by a unanimous 5-0 decision on Sunday.
The convincing victory came on Kargil Vijay Diwas , making the win even more special for the 22-year-old, who dedicated it to India's Kargil War heroes.
After the bout, Jadumani said, "I dedicate my win to the Kargil heroes. I felt great winning against Pakistan. I will perform even better in the quaterfinals and secure a Gold for India ."
