French Open LIVE: Doctor called to court in Medvedev match as star bursts into tears

We've already had plenty of drama at the French Open as we head into the second day of the tournament. Emma Raducanu was dumped out at the first hurdle, with the young Brit being bagelled in the first set of her chastening 6-0 7-6 defeat to Solana Sierra. Afterwards, she fought back tears as she struggled to explain what went wrong on the court.

Novak Djokovic, meanwhile, survived a scare to beat Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and book his place in the second round. Elsewhere, there was a major upset as Nishesh Basavareddy defeated Taylor Fritz in four sets to send the American packing against the odds. The action continues to come thick and fast on day two with the likes of Alex de Minaur, Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev and Iga Swiatek all set to begin their respective campaigns.
