Newspoint
After years of waiting, the moment is finally here, and pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) go live at midnight local time on June 25. Rockstar has officially pulled back the curtain on everything, including editions, prices, bonuses, and release details.
GTA 6 essentially launches November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. There is no early access incentive attached to any edition, meaning everyone plays on the same day regardless of which version they buy.

How to pre-order GTA 6 on all platforms
GTA 6 pre-orders are opening at midnight local time on June 25 across the world. It is going to be available through the Rockstar Store, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and other participating retailers, depending on your region.
To pre-order the game, you can simply head to your preferred platform or storefront and search for Grand Theft Auto VI. The Standard Edition is available in both physical and digital formats, while the Ultimate Edition is digital only.
Pre-loading for digital copies begins on November 12, seven days before launch. Physical copies will also be available from November 12 to support pre-loading, though the physical box contains a download code rather than a disc. No PC version has been confirmed at launch.
GTA 6 Editions and Price
There are going to be two editions available for GTA 6: Standard and Ultimate. Listed below are all the details about them alongside their price:
  • Standard Edition - $79.99: The Standard Edition features the full single-player experience set in a modern Vice City and the broader state of Leonida.
  • Ultimate Edition - $99.99: Rockstar describes the Ultimate Edition as a collection of premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and extra content, structured so that new items unlock progressively across chapters of Jason and Lucia's story rather than all at once on day one. The Ultimate Edition is digital only. Notably, an Ultimate Edition Upgrade will also be available for Standard Edition owners to purchase separately at any time after launch, so there's no pressure to commit upfront.
GTA 6 Ultimate Edition bonus rewards
The Ultimate Edition is packed with exclusive weapons, vehicles, clothes, and weapon skins.
