Lando Norris and McLaren have had a difficult start to the 2026 season in a massive change of fortune just months after World Championship glory in December. Last winter Norris stood under the floodlights in Abu Dhabi after picking up McLaren's first Driver's title for 17 years since Lewis Hamilton secured glory back in 2008.

The new regulations were always going to shake up the pack, with McLaren's engine partner Mercedes stealing a march on the team across the first 10 races of the year. That all came to an end in Hungary as Lando Norris picked up his first win of the season. McLaren is back on top for now.
