As the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season is reaching its final stage which is the playoffs, many teams are struggling for playoff spots. There have been teams who struggled in the first half but bounced back in the second half simply because their players started performing at the right time.

He has had many inconsistent knocks and failures in the past but he did not let them affect him and has shown everyone his true potential in this season’s IPL. The 25-year-old batter was first bought by Punjab Kings (Kings XI Punjab then) in 2019, and PBKS bought him again during the 2022 mega auction for INR 60 lakhs. In this season’s IPL he has amassed 441 runs in 12 innings with an average of 40.09 at a strike rate of 167.68. He has also taken 6 catches contributing both with the bat and gloves.

Prince Yadav is an emerging talent whose pace as well as hard hitting consistent deliveries are impressing everyone this IPL season. After a magnificent season in the Delhi Premier League, the Lucknow Super Giants spent 30 lac rupees to sign him at the 2025 mega auction. He was able to take 3 wickets in 6 matches in the last edition, but he impressed everyone with his bowling performance this season, taking 16 wickets in 12 IPL 2026 matches so far at a bowling average of 24.
