Katherine Sciver-Brunt Joins Trent Rockets as Assistant Coach for The Hundred 2026
Former England fast bowler Katherine Sciver-Brunt has taken on the role of assistant coach for the Trent Rockets in the 2026 Women's Hundred, marking her first foray into coaching since hanging up her boots in 2023. She'll be teaming up with England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt as part of the Rockets' coaching team.
An OBE for her contributions to cricket, Katherine stands as England's second-highest wicket-taker in all women's international formats, with an impressive tally of 335 wickets, including 170 in ODIs.
She played a crucial role in England's victories at the 2009 Women's T20 World Cup and the 2017 Women's World Cup, and she represented the Trent Rockets during the first three seasons of The Hundred from 2021 to 2023.

The coaching landscape for The Hundred Women's competition is brimming with notable figures. Nat Sciver-Brunt stepped down from her captaincy with the Trent Rockets last year to concentrate on her commitments with England, with Australia's Ash Gardner taking over the captaincy. Additionally, former South Africa white-ball bowling coach Anton Roux has been brought on as an assistant coach to Peter Moores for the Trent Rockets men's team.
