Phil Mickelson has received public support from his wife, Amy Mickelson, as he faces fresh misconduct allegations. In a statement shared with People, the golfer’s spokesperson said Amy has stood beside her husband “with extraordinary grace” and “unwavering love” during their 35-year relationship. The response comes after new claims from Ashley Perez, the former wife of fellow golfer Pat Perez, and another earlier allegation involving a country club employee.

Phil Mickelson’s spokesperson says Amy Mickelson continues to support him
The statement, given to People, pushed back against several claims made about Mickelson while also acknowledging that some past mistakes had already been addressed.

It said, “Some of the allegations circulating about Mr. Mickelson are false, and others revisit mistakes he has already acknowledged, publicly or privately. Stacking the disputed claims next to the ones he has owned does not make them credible. It instead contributes to a false and misleading narrative.”

The spokesperson also spoke about Amy Mickelson’s support, saying, “Throughout their 35-year relationship, his wife, Amy Mickelson, has supported Mr. Mickelson and their family with extraordinary grace, unwavering love, and the belief that people are measured not only by their failures, but by what they do to make them right.”

The statement added, “Mr. Mickelson’s priority is to become the husband, father, and man his family deserves. Right now, that means giving his full attention to a private family health matter.”
