Oklahoma City Thunder levelled the Western Conference finals 1-1 after defeating the San Antonio Spurs 122-113 in Game 2 on Wednesday.
Reigning NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander starred with 30 points and nine assists after being contained in the series opener. Oklahoma City built an early lead and withstood a strong Spurs comeback led by Stephon Castle and Victor Wembanyama.
Despite missing injured guard De’Aaron Fox again, the Spurs stayed competitive before Oklahoma City pulled away late in the fourth quarter. The series now shifts to San Antonio for Games 3 and 4 this weekend.
