With this latest stand, Virat Kohli now has 211 fifty-plus partnerships in men’s T20 cricket, the highest ever recorded. He moved past England batter Alex Hales, who previously held the record with 210 such partnerships.
Former Australian opener David Warner sits third on the list with 200 fifty-plus stands, while Babar Azam and Chris Gayle follow behind.
The innings was powered by explosive knocks from Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Heinrich Klaasen.
Ishan Kishan top-scored for SRH with 79 runs, while Abhishek Sharma smashed 56 and Heinrich Klaasen added another quick-fire 51. Kishan and Klaasen also stitched together a crucial 113-run partnership for the third wicket, helping Sunrisers Hyderabad register one of their biggest totals of the IPL 2026 season.
For Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Rasikh Salam Dar was the most successful bowler with figures of 2/52.
