The RCB superstar became the batter involved in the highest number of 50-plus partnerships in the history of men’s T20 cricket. Kohli achieved the landmark after putting together another strong opening stand with Venkatesh Iyer against SRH.
With this latest stand, Virat Kohli now has 211 fifty-plus partnerships in men’s T20 cricket, the highest ever recorded. He moved past England batter Alex Hales, who previously held the record with 210 such partnerships.
Former Australian opener David Warner sits third on the list with 200 fifty-plus stands, while Babar Azam and Chris Gayle follow behind.
