Virat Kohli and Arshdeep Singh stole the spotlight off the field with a witty exchange after India sealed the ODI series against South Africa on Saturday. The light-hearted moment was captured in a video shared by Punjab Kings’ social media handle, quickly going viral among fans.

In the viral clip, Arshdeep jokingly told Kohli, “Paaji, run kam rehgaye, century aaj pakki thi waise (Brother, the target wasn't big enough, otherwise a century seemed certain).” Kohli fired back with a grin, “Toss jeet gaye, nahi toh teri bhi pakki thi dew mein, (Be thankful we won the toss or even you have been hit for a century in the dew!).”
Dew proved decisive on the night. India’s decision to bowl first paid off as the conditions became increasingly difficult for South Africa’s bowlers later on.
Earlier, the Proteas had recovered from losing Ryan Rickelton for a duck through a solid 113-run partnership between Quinton de Kock and skipper Temba Bavuma. De Kock was in sublime touch, hammering 106 off 89 balls, while Bavuma chipped in with 48. De Kock also added 54 runs with Matthew Breetzke, but South Africa slipped from 234/5 to 270 all out, undone by Krishna’s pace and Kuldeep’s guile.
India wrapped up the chase in just 39.5 overs. Jaiswal finished unbeaten on 116, and his century stand with Kohli underlined India’s dominance as they clinched the series in emphatic fashion.
