Watch: Jofra Archer Cleans Up Travis Head with Fiery 150 KMPH Rocket in IPL 2026 Eliminator

Jofra Archer delivered a fiery spell for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2026 Eliminator against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Mullanpur, which left SRH in dire straits as they looked to chase down a target of 244.

 

The pace man dismissed three important openers & top order batters in his first three over, including a devastating 150.4 KMPH which hit the stumps and dismissed Travis Head.

 

Head, who had launched out at the start with 17 from only eight balls, hitting two fours and a six, was beaten by Archer's express pace.

Head was trapped in the fifth over of the innings when he attempted to move away and dominate through the offside. A quick, hard length full delivery from Archer was extremely quick and beat Head all ends up before the ball struck the off-stump flush at the top.

 

SRH found themselves 57/4 in 4.4 overs after the dismissal.

 

Archer has earlier dismissed Abhishek Sharma for a duck and also got Ishan Kishan caught after the wicketkeeper-batterscored a rapid 33 off 11 balls.

 

Rajasthan Royals pace bowlers totally destroyed the course of the game, despite SRH's electric start to the powerplay.

Rajasthan Royals Take Firm Control

 

It was always going to be a tough chase against Rajasthan Royals, who posted 243 in their first innings, after teenager Vaibhav Sooryavanshi played a blazing 97.

 

SRH had a terrible start to their innings, as Abhishek was out on the second ball of the innings, while Ishan Kishan attacked fearlessly, Archer continued to provide crucial blows at regular intervals.

 

Burger joined the hunt by dismissing Smaran Ravichandran cheaply.

 

At the end of 5 overs, the SRH were struggling at 58/4 with Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy as the only available players and the equation kept worsening by the minute. RR were in total command of this massive knockout match.

 

The spells from Archer were fantastic not only to get SRH's top-order but also to put RR into the driver seat of the encounter of IPL 2026.
