England and Wales will host this global event. The Women's T20 World Cup 2026 is the 10th edition of the 20-over cricket tournament. Ahead of the match, Indian team captain Harmanpreet Kaur made a major revelation regarding team selection.

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur said her team is fairly clear about its final eleven for the Women's T20 World Cup and will use the two practice matches before that to try out some more combinations and give opportunities to players like Radha Yadav and Bharti Fulmali.

India arrived in England hoping to end their long wait for winning their maiden Women's T20 World Cup title, but lost the three-match T20 International series 2-1 to hosts England, dealing a blow to their preparations ahead of the prestigious ICC tournament.

Speaking about the final eleven, Harmanpreet said, "I believe we are fairly clear about our final eleven. I think we are fully prepared. We have two practice matches before the World Cup, where we can think about trying out other combinations." She further added, "Radha is already in the team.

She performed very well in the WPL and is fully prepared. Besides, Bharti Fulmali has also performed well in the middle order. Hopefully, we will give her enough opportunities in the practice matches."
