'Brilliant' £26 fan can be taken anywhere and is 'invaluable in the heatwave'
It feels like we've only just seen the back of a heatwave, and another is showing up on our doorsteps. Many retailers are completely out of stock on air conditioning units, desk and tower fans, but there's still one way to keep cool.
Amazon shoppers are turning to Bearwind's Portable Handheld Turbo Fan to stay cool, and they can take it with them when they leave the house.
The battery gives up to 12 hours of cooling and can be fully recharged in three hours using a USB-C cable. It can also be folded and comes with a lanyard, meaning it can be handheld, propped on a desk or worn around the neck. This is a great option for those who are on the move.
There are five different speeds available and a digital screen to see how much battery is left. It's said to be 'three times stronger' than 'ordinary' fans, which is something that would go down a treat during the heatwave.
John Lewis has a Handheld & Foldable Desk Fan available for £12 in lilac; it's currently in stock online, although every other shade appears to be sold out. The four-inch fan only has three speeds and takes 5 hours to fully charge. Fully charged, it provides a maximum of 9 hours of use at the lowest speed, or four hours at the highest speed.
The COMLIFE Handheld Spray Fan is currently £19.99 on Amazon and has a misting feature thanks to a 25ml water tank. It only provides 30 minutes of misting but has an overall usage time of 13 hours.
