If you’re an EPFO member struggling to recall your EPF Passbook password, follow this step-by-step guide to reset it effortlessly:

Step 1: Visit the Official EPFO Website
Go to the EPFO’s official website at epfindia.gov.in or access the Unified Member Portal at unified portal.

Step 2: Click on ‘Forgot Password’
On the login page, locate and click on the ‘Forgot Password’ option. Enter your Universal Account Number (UAN) and click on the ‘Verify’ button.


Step 3: Verify Registered Mobile Number
Once you’ve entered your UAN, the system will display the mobile number registered with your EPFO account. Ensure this number is accessible, as you’ll receive an OTP on it.

Step 4: Enter Personal Details
Provide the required details, including your name, date of birth, gender, KYC type, and document number. Double-check the information for accuracy.
