Google Chrome Introduces Listen To This Page In Hindi And Bengali
Google is rolling out a new " Listen to this page " feature for Chrome users on Android , enabling them to listen to web pages in their chosen language and voice . According to a report by 9to5Google, this feature will soon be available to all stable users.
To access this feature, users need to tap the "Listen to this page" option located in the three-dot menu of the Chrome Android app, just below the Translate option. This feature allows users to listen to the entire page in a podcast-like manner, with controls to play, pause, rewind, fast-forward, and skip 10 seconds.
Currently, there are four voice options available: Ruby (mid-pitch, warm), River (mid-pitch, bright), Field (low-pitch, bright), and Moss (low-pitch, peaceful). Language options include English, Hindi , Bengali , Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish.
